Like Northrise University, (NU) the Ndola Vision (NV) was born out of a great need. Zambia is one of the poorest nations in the world. In Zambia, educational opportunities beyond secondary or high school are limited. Good health services, where available, are beyond the reach of those who need them most. This situation is compounded by the ravages of HIV/AIDS and other diseases.
Northrise University was founded with the goal of providing a high quality education in the hope that graduates would be knowledgeable and skilled in various areas in order for them to make a difference at some level in Zambia. One of the core values of NU is to live out a biblical world view which includes among other values, community action.
It is out of these values that the Ndola Vision ministry has developed. The big picture is to have as many people as are touched by the Lord to come and minister to the community in Ndola through Northrise University and impact the city positively.
We are excited to embark on our very first Ndola Vision mission trip in 2008, which we are calling "Impact Ndola 2008". We invite you to this breath taking and life changing ministry trip giving you the opportunity to touch a life. We believe that people are more likely to be committed to ministries that they have a heart-felt passion for and trust in, and participating in Impact Ndola 2008 facilitates increased passion and trust in Northrise.
